Shafer Elementary's doors opened in August of 2012.  The school was named after Katy ISD leaders, Fred and Patti Shafer.

Shafer Elementary teachers and staff are dedicated to educating our Silver Knights, and they will pour their hearts into each student.  We are one big Silver Knight family!
